Amazon is now reselling a bunch of Comcast service bundles, including Internet and TV service, doing so through a quietly launched new “store” called “Amazon Cable Store”.

It already feels like you can buy everything on Amazon, but today Amazon began selling something unexpected: phone, internet, and TV service from Comcast.
Smit said that, down the line, Comcast could sell other products like its home security service through Amazon as well.

If so, it could establish a valuable, new digital sales channel for Comcast and other cable operators as they seek new ways to keep broadband subscriber growth stoked and return video to a sustainable level of growth following years of decline in that category.
The Xfinity purchases will be supported, Comcast added, by specially trained customer service agents in its new service centers in Spokane, Wash. and Tucson, Ariz. Only Comcast is being offered through it right now, and there are some exclusive offers provided, as well as the promise of it only taking “three steps” to get service.
Customer service is looking like a key selling point here. You’ll be given the option of leasing the hardware you need or buying it outright. Comcast said the pricing for bundles on Amazon will be the same as what appears on its own website. For example, on Amazon, the Starter Triple Play (140-plus channels with DVR, phone and 75-Mbps Internet) is $89.99 per month for the first 12 months with a two-year contract.
