Trump Protester Punched and Kicked at Tucson Rally

A recent Denver Post opinion poll asked, “Who is most to blame for the confrontation and violence at campaign rallies for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump?”.

A video from Newsy’s partners at KGUN shows Bryan Sanders holding a sign while being escorted out with another protester, a woman wearing a hood resembling the Ku Klux Klan’s.

In another incident, a man who was caught on video punching an anti-Trump protester in the face at a North Carolina rally was arrested and charged with assault.

A female protester – wearing a white hood, in a nod to the Ku Klux Klan – was also escorted out of the rally by law enforcement. “I think that somebody should say that when a road is blocked going into the event”. “I think that somebody should say that when a road is blocked going into the event”, he added.

Donald Trump praised his campaign manager as “spirited” after footage showed him appearing to grab a protester by the collar amid rising concerns about violence at the Republican frontrunner’s rallies. He wanted them to take down those disgusting profanity-laced signs.

“I give him credit for having spirit”, Mr Trump said of Mr Lewandowski.

She and another protester had apparently sought to disrupt the campaign rally, the latest of several to be marred by violence, and were targeted as they were led away from the event in Tuscon, Arizona. Trump said he could understand why tempers flared considering what that protester was wearing.

Corey Lewandowski has already faced criticism after a former Breitbart.com reporter, Michelle Fields, claimed he grabbed her by the arm after a press conference. Another video appeared to show Lewandowski grabbing a protester by the back of his shirt.

Some supporters and Trump campaign employees took his words to heart, perhaps bolstered by Trump’s promises to pay the legal bills of his supporters who attack detractors.

These people are very disruptive. The Trump campaign has denied the account.

Arpaio said, “Three of them are in jail”. “And, you know, at what point do people blame the protesters?” Uh, as I said, in Phoenix, we had 21,000 people.

“These are private events paid for by the campaign, and while we do not condone violence or interactions of any kind, that kind of language is not acceptable for the families and television cameras in attendance”, Ms. Hicks said in an email.

Instead of challenging Trump’s strategy to promote and encourage violence, the media is turning a blind eye.
