It’s unclear what caused the wreck… but cops say no one on the ground was injured. The crash is being investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.

Storm competed on the ABC reality dating show in 2008.

NBC claims that Erin’s legs were on fire, and she was in cardiac arrest when rescue crews arrived.

People notes that Storm was working as a pilot for Pacific Blue Air, an aircraft training facility based at the Hawthorne Municipal Airport.

“Massively shocked. Devastated for her family and friends”, Grant exclusively tells ET.

“We were lucky to have Erin on season 12. She was genuine, self-assured, attractive and hilarious”.

Erin Storm, a former contestant on The Bachelor, was killed after the small plane she was piloting crashed on March 21, NBC reports.

The craft, an Airborne XT-912, caught fire.

County coroner’s officials said they could not confirm reports of Storm’s death, but several friends identified her on Facebook and on entertainment media sites as the victim of Monday’s crash.
