Civil War: Captain America and Bucky’s Love Story
In the latest bit of behind-the-scenes shenanigans to pump up fans for the impending clash of titans, Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo posted a video to their Facebook page showing “Chris Evans” reacting to his first viewing of the completed film.

We first met Bucky Barnes in Captain America: The First Avenger, where we learned that Bucky was childhood friends with Steve Rogers, long before he became Captain America. Sidiing with Captain Marvel with the idea of changing the future is Captain America (Steve Rogers), War Machine, Spider-Man, Vision, Medusa, Blue Marvel, The Winter Soldier, Spectrum, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, and Ant-Man. Whats fascinating about the Cap-Bucky story as well is its a love story. He didn’t tell Empire he was trying to re-invent the “love story” by telling one through the eyes of two straight men; he just said the film fit. Perhaps what’s at stake here is the term “love story”, which, by Russo’s definition, would fit films like Bridesmaids, Bad Boys 2 and When Harry Met Sally, all at once.
Sebastian Stan who brings the character of Bucky to life in Captain America, had his own opinion and definitely did not go as far as to call it a love story.

“I think it’s easy and generalising it to say that they’re lovers, when you’re forgetting that one has a lot of guilt because he swore to be the protector of the other, the father figure or older brother so to speak, and then left him behind”. “Steve has to answer that question for himself, and there are other characters in the movie who hold the opposite point of view”. As much as I’d like to think that Chris Evans walks around in his Cap gear 24/7, something seems a little off here. But how does the man who plays Captain America feel after watching the Marvel sequel? This is where a lot of the conflict comes from as things turn rather explosive.
