Bachelor Ben Higgins, 26, was unsure of who he would choose as his life partner from the two finalists of the reality show as he himself had admitted that he was still in love with both Lauren Bushnell, 25, and JoJo Fletcher, 24.
Remember all the promos of the mysterious “phone call” that had everyone thinking Ben was going to call back the woman he let go? “But Lauren, I never want to say goodbye to you”, Ben tells his future bride. No. But now that she is the Bachelorette, she has the opportunity to find somebody like I found Lauren.
Fletcher is a real estate developer from Dallas, Texas, and it can be recalled that Higgins told her that he loved her before ultimately proposing to Bushnell on Monday’s finale. Jo Jo Fletcher didn’t get the big proposal from Ben Higgins on Monday’s “Bachelor” finale, but she headlines ” The Bachelorette”, starting May 23.
Soon, Lauren joined Ben on the Bachelor couch and they said how relieved they were to finally make their love public.
As Us Weekly reports, Lauren Bushnell shared her feelings about Ben’s mother’s comments, saying, “at first, it’s kind of odd to watch. It’s important for me to stand up to people stereotyping Iranians”, she declared.
“Lauren makes fantastic breakfast sandwiches”, Higgins said of what he’s discovered about his new fiancee. Then Ben proposed and Lauren obviously said yes and blah, blah, blah – did they get married during the After the Final Rose special?! Ben waited with his final rose on the beach and said although he loved the woman whose heart he would break, “I love somebody more”.
JoJo, on the other hand, will be the first Bachelorette of Persian descent.
When asked by The Hollywood Reporter whether Jojo represents the diverse casting that fans have been asking for in the next “Bachelor”, Higgins says he doesn’t want to get involved. She is the only woman I’ll love from now on. “Ben, it’s your move, my friend!”

But before the darling duo jets off into the sunset (or their new home in Denver), Ben pops the question to Lauren again, only with their families in the audience.
