Front-runner Donald Trump looks to take another step toward winning the Republican presidential nomination in contests in Arizona and Utah on Tuesday, aiming to deal another setback to the party establishment’s flagging stop-Trump movement.
“I’m of the camp that Kasich is running for vice president – and he doesn’t care if it’s Trump or Cruz or Sanders or Hillary”, said Nate Bachman, a Cruz contributor from Kasich’s OH who is part of the donor network organized by Charles Koch and David Koch.
Mr. Romneys vote in Utah, where he owns a house in Holladay, is not an endorsement, allies of Mr. Romney stressed. It’s plausible – but not at all certain- Trump will hit that number.
While Trump is favored to capture all of Arizona’s delegates, his margin of victory is important. Cruz is in second place with 423 delegates, and Kasich is in third with 143. He’s out, he’s out campaigning with Kasich, and then he endorses Cruz. As such, Arizona is close to a one-on-one match-up.
“I had many, many people that I am competing with, so you know when you talk about the majority plus one it is a very unfair situation”, Trump said.
Voters have until mid-April to join the Republican or Democratic parties if they want to pick between the presidential candidates as well as any other of those parties’ candidates for legislative or statewide office. Two recent polls show him leading in the Beehive State by 20 points or more.

Kathy Davis is one of those former Rubio supporters who switched over to Cruz in the last week.
Cruz visited Utah Saturday, beginning his day with a 10 a.m. rally at the American Preparatory Academy, in Draper, where he helped officially kick off the campaign of Utah Sen. Cruz has an extensive organization that has done well in caucuses this year, which should give him a good shot of capturing all of Utah’s delegates.
If no candidate wins the 1,237 delegates needed before the July nominating convention in Cleveland, the convention is considered contested or brokered.
Sanders, a USA senator from Vermont, is looking for wins in numerous six Democratic contests this week.

The Texas senator said Kasich has no chance of beating Trump and the “only role Kasich is playing right now is as a spoiler because every vote for John Kasich is effectively a vote for Donald Trump”.
