Arsenal loses in FA Cup, Man United held by West Ham
United can still pick up a trophy this season as they are still competing in the FA Cup and are also still in the Europa League.

The semi-final draw of the FA Cup has been announced, with Crystal Palace playing Watford while Everton face the victor of Manchester United and West Ham.
West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet looked to be sending the 11-times Cup winners tumbling out of the competition in the quarterfinals with a wondrous, curling free kick in the 68th minute.
The FA Cup is set for a first-time victor since 2004, as Manchester United were the most recent champions among the 5 sides, with West Ham tasting success in 1980 and Everton in 1995.
“We know how crucial that first goal is going to be”.
Mark Noble impressed for West Ham at United and Old Trafford, and said his team were confident about the replay.
It will not be the two team’s only meeting at the ground before the season is out, with a quarter final replay between the two still to be scheduled.
“We could have held on for 1-0 and on counter-attacks I was expecting to create one, two or three more clear-cut chances”. Danny Welbeck replied for Arsenal in the 88th but sustained late pressure, including a shot against the post from Alex Iwobi and a glaring miss from Welbeck, didn’t yield an equalizer.
After a string of solid matches, van Gaal’s men have put together several embarrassing performances with the worst coming at Anfield in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Ighalo opened the scoring in the 50th when he received a flick-on from strike partner Troy Deeney, evaded marker Gabriel and tucked a finish from eight meters into to the bottom corner.
Quique Sanchez’ Flores side have beaten Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Arsenal to reach the last-four.
When asked about his goal, Payet told West Ham TV: “It’s true that it was a lovely goal but I wanted it to give us victory”.
Bilic said: “If you have a screen, show me, I am going to defend my point at Cambridge (debating union)”. We just got our heads around this very quick and now we turn out attention back to Liverpool.

With United trailing, Van Gaal changed the pattern of the game by sending on Bastian Schweinsteiger and Memphis Depay in a double substitution after 76 minutes.
