Donald Trump continued his salvo by noting Mitt Romney’s previous work with other candidates, getting personal with his characterization of the former candidate as “a mixed up man”.

Trump wasted little time before hitting back at Mitt Romney, who just a few weeks ago became one of the loudest anti-Trump voices in the Republican party. Some Christians do not see Mormonism as a true Christian church.
Lee and Cruz, along with speakers like former GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Utah Lt. Governor Spencer Cox and talk show host Glenn Beck centralized their rally speeches on how the U.S. Constitution is in danger.
Trump needs to collect more than half the delegates still to be chosen to reach the 1,237 delegate threshold, which is possible if he improves his winning percentages.
None of the candidates had made public campaign appearances in the state prior to this weekend.
Trump has been having a running feud with Kelly since last August, when he complained that she had treated him unfairly during the first Republican presidential debate. Lindsey Graham, who on Thursday said he would help Cruz’s fundraising efforts but stopped short of offering his endorsement to his senate colleague. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who recently dropped out of the race. Kasich and Cruz are in Utah.
The same slate of speakers at the Draper event appeared at a similar rally for Cruz in Provo on Saturday afternoon attended by several thousand people.
“Unlike the other people running, he has a real track record”.
In a Facebook post, he underscored the reality that if one candidate tops 50% in Utah’s caucuses, that contender gets all 40 of the state’s delegates at the Republican National Convention – a cold calculation that favors Cruz.
If not, there is a contested convention, in which some delegates are allowed to vote freely after the first ballot.
At a rally in Salt Lake City on Friday evening, Trump continued to dig in, jokingly questioning Romney’s faith. Trump had critical words for Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee: “Are you sure he’s a Mormon? Are we sure?” he asked his crowd at the Infinity Event Center. Sometimes when he says stuff, I do.
Trump pledged to change things if he is elected president in the November election. “I don’t know if John Kasich is perhaps campaigning to be Donald Trump’s vice president”. “But I like that he’s coming at it from an outside viewpoint”.
Early polling shows Cruz leading among Utah’s predominantly Mormon voters, but Trump is expected to win Arizona’s primary where many Republicans support his call for building a wall along the border with Mexico and mass deportations of immigrants living illegally in the U.S.
Trump praised evangelical Christian voters before mocking Romney for “choking” in the 2012 presidential election.
