It’s the case he tried to make during the forum, speaking before hundreds of supporters.

“You want a character debate, Bob, you’d better stick with me, because Sydney Ellen Wade is way out of your league”, Douglas’s character said.
With a big win in the Utah primary, Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz weighed in on the state of his presidential bid and the fight against terrorism. Donald, if you try to attack Heidi, you’re more of a coward than I thought.
In an interview Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day“, Cruz said of Kasich: “I think he’d be a tremendous addition to an administration”. “She doesn’t have a clue”. Primary voters are very different from general-election voters.
Praising Cruz for his staunch conservatism, Bush, who ended his own bid for the nomination last month, called for unity among Republicans – at the expense of Trump, the current front-runner.
Bush, once seen as the likely nominee but whose candidacy never gained momentum, tweeted Wednesday that Cruz is a “consistent, principled conservative who has shown he can unite the party”.
Bush, who dropped out of the Republican presidential race in February, called on the GOP to “overcome the divisiveness and vulgarity Donald Trump has brought into the political arena”.
Going into Tuesday, Hillary Clinton has 1,163 delegates, while Bernie Sanders claims 844 out of the 2,383 needed to win. It will take place at the Grand Hyatt New York.
PPIC also polled the June contest to succeed U.S. Sen. But with the Republican field narrowing while front-runner Trump widens his lead, even those who have openly expressed their intense dislike for the go-it-alone Cruz are falling line behind him.
Addressing cheering supporters in Seattle, Clinton said the attacks in Brussels were a pointed reminder of “how high the stakes are” in 2016.
“We don’t build walls or turn our back on our allies”, she said.
“One thing we know that does not work is offensive inflammatory rhetoric that demonizes all Muslims”, she added.
A Twitter response from Trump questioned Cruz’ honesty.
She was responding to the racy photos of Trump’s wife anti-Trump SuperPAC Make America Awesome used in Utah.
“Well, as you probably know by now, most of the things, numerous things others say are not based in reality”, Heidi Cruz said.
Following a resounding win in Tuesday’s Utah primary, Fox News released the results of a recent poll showing the Texas senator is within striking distance of Trump among Republican voters at large.
The still-competitive Democratic primary keeps Clinton in the headlines, in a cycle otherwise dominated by Trump’s battle with fellow Republicans.
“Remember after March 31, only one-third of the delegates will be left to award because two-thirds will have been picked in state party contests”, Mr. Evans said.
Less than an hour before Trump’s latest attack, Cruz addressed Trump’s targeting of his wife at a campaign event in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Most voters aged 45 and older, 63 percent, prefer Clinton, while a majority of younger voters, 63 percent, back Sanders.
