Area Easter egg hunts scheduled
Pam Parrish brought her 6-year-old granddaughter, Faith, to the Easter egg hunt for the first time, along with her infant son Quincy, but she and her husband are hardly newcomers, as they brought their eldest daughter to the event year after year as a child. Traditionally, the event is held the day before Easter Sunday. Participants should take their own basket or other container for gathering eggs.

“We’ve sponsored Easter in the Park with the city for 29 years”, said Tammie Reynolds, account executives for Burt Broadcasting. The Eagles Lodge is hosting that event at 1 p.m.
She said in each section there will be one golden egg, and if and when it is found, the prize is a big Easter basket. 10 a.m. Saturday. Bring children to hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny.
“The residents have a lot of fun filling the eggs and enjoy watching the kids running around gathering them”, Weiland said.
American Falls American Legion Roland Evans Post 3 community Easter egg hunt is Sunday at Willow Bay recreation area. Everyone’s welcome to join in with the floats, bands and drill teams, and anyone with a decorated hat “with all the frills upon it” (as the old song goes) is welcome to ride on the parade’s Bonnet Float.
The Belchertown Recreation Center’s Easter egg hunt will take place on March 26 starting at 10:30 a.m. The hunt, for children 10 and under, costs $4 to attend.
The Chaffee-Sardinia Kiwanis Club will its annual community Easter Egg Hunt at the Sardinia Town Park at 1 p.m. on March 26. There will be separate hunts for three age groups on the ballfields north and east of Yerington High School.
The annual event will have games, food, inflatables and, of course, Easter egg hunts.

Willard Park in Hebron in 2 p.m. All visually impaired and blind children will have the opportunity to participate in their own hunt. The Easter Bunny will be present for photos. They will also receive a free Easter coloring book. There also will be a photo booth and face painting.
