2K games and WWE have released a press statement that Arnold Schwarzenegger will a playable character as both the T-800 from 1984’s The Terminator and 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day. “I was honoured to join the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, and now I’ll continue my WWE legacy with one of my biggest film roles immortalized in WWE 2K16“.
Schwarzenegger was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year and of course Triple H’s WrestleMania 31 entrance featured a Terminator tie-in to promote Terminator Genysis, which is now in theaters. This will be the first time that WWE has included a character outside the wrestling world.
The trailer that was leaked recreates the famous scene from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Finn Balor appears in the video along with Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan, Eva Marie and Paige. While it was moved to private on the 2K Games account, others have uploaded it already.
