We’ve heard Negan’s name.
The introduction of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan has been hanging over The Walking Dead like an albatross the past few weeks, and now we finally have our first peek at the uber-baddie in action.
Robert Kirkman, who authors “The Walking Dead” comics and executive produces the show, discussed the character in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “He’s definitely a different kind of bad guy”, Kirkman said of the highly-anticipated TWD bad guy. With Negan, things will be very different. “I think he’s unlike anything anybody’s experienced on “The Walking Dead” thus far”.
Kirkman explained that while Rick went up against other villains in the past and even with some struggle, he always had an advantage and always won.
Who do U want to see make it to Season Seven?? You won’t see his face, but you’ll glimpse his trademark leather jacket, black slicked-back hair and his friend, a barbed-wire baseball bat with a cute name we won’t spoil. The character was introduced in the infamous issue #100 of the book, which saw the death of a beloved character at the hands of Negan and Lucille. “So it should be just as intense, just as heartbreaking, and just as shocking”.
