“Israeli politicians, military figures and religious officials have commanded Israeli soldiers to execute Palestinians”.

The United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva approved a resolution to compile an updated list of all companies, Israeli and foreign, operating in any of the disputed territories.

The incident triggered an immediate inquiry by the Israeli military police, and the soldier was arrested and questioned in what is being considered a murder investigation. In the B’Tselem video, the wounded Palestinian can be seen lying on the pavement and slightly moving his head, which had blood around it.

The Palestinian shown in the video was shot and wounded during the attack.

B’Tselem, which has repeatedly raised the alarm about the shooting of wounded suspects, said that the authorities were to blame for excusing previous incidents that were less clearly documented.

It is worth mentioning that the army has kidnaped fifteen Palestinians, in different parts of the occupied West Bank, on Thursday at dawn; three were kidnapped in Ya’bad near Jenin, one in Nablus, two in Salfit, seven in Ramallah and two in Hebron.

Over 90 percent of Palestinian exports go to Israel, mainly because of the high costs of transporting goods to anywhere else.

The clip, which was widely shared online and shown by state-owned and commercial Israeli TV channels, shows what appears to be one of the most flagrant cases of Israeli forces’ alleged use of excessive force so far in the wave of Israeli-Palestinian violence that erupted in October. Several men nearby then cover their ears – and the soldier fires a bullet into Sharif’s head.

Israeli settlers and right-wing groups held celebrations in Hebron’s Ibrahimi Mosque. A survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute last fall shows this, with findings that 80 percent of Jewish Israelis support demolitions; it also revealed that a stunning 53 percent agreed that any Palestinian involved in a terror attack should be “killed on the spot”.

On the other side, Palestinians have also attacked Israelis, stabbing them or attempting to hit them with their cars.

Responding to the video, Philip Luther, director of the Middle East and North Africa Programme at Amnesty International, said the shooting could amount to a war crime. During the same time period, Palestinians have killed 28 Israelis and two US citizens while carrying out attacks in the streets.

Fatah a-Sharif and Ramzi al-Qasrawi, both 21, had lunged at an Israeli soldier in the Tel Rumeida district of Hebron, stabbing and injuring him, the military said.
