Time to hunt some eggs
Southborough Kindergroup’s Easter Egg Hunt has become a fun community tradition. After the parade, the annual Easter egg hunt will follow with groups of 25 children at a time hunting down eggs for the possibility of winning an Easter basket, courtesy of Kmart.

The Easter Bunny and more than 8,000 Easter eggs will be on hand at Kiwanis of Carson City’s annual egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26 at Centennial Park. Lunch will be provided and everyone is invited. Fee is $5 per each child, ages 3 to14 years old.
Both activities are rain-or-shine events so dress appropriately, and bring an Easter basket or something to collect eggs and candy. There is no charge for the hunt, but canned goods donations for the Food Bank or eyeglasses are appreciated. Featuring an eggciting Easter egg hunt and activities.
Easter Egg Hunt & Ice Cream Party – 1 p.m. – Nelson Farms County Store, 3261 US Route 20, Cazenovia.
Shasta Lake Lions Club Community Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast: 9 a.m. Sunday at Claire Engle Park, 1525 Median Ave., Shasta Lake. They will also have a natural egg dying demo.
Mount Shasta Elks Lodge Egg Hunt: 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Shasta City Park in Mount Shasta. Each age group will have their own sections to hunt eggs filled with candy and cash.
Now through Saturday, the Easter Bunny will be at North Grand Mall for visits and photos. Children should register by 9:45 a.m. The event is sponsored by area churches including Grace United Methodist, Pequot Lakes Baptist, The Journey Church and Timberwood Church.
Willard Park in Hebron in 2 p.m. For all kids ages 0-12 years.
On the actual holiday, locals can attend an Easter brunch and family egg hunt at Selby Gardens.

The Easter bunny will also make an appearance at the event for photos and to say hello to the children during the event.
