Trump Surrogate Confronts Cruz Supporter With Shocking Affair Allegations
Rick Tyler, Cruz’s former press secretary who was forced to resign after being accused of committing dirty campaign tricks in early primary states, defended his former boss and suggested that Trump or an ally shopped the story around to several news organizations until David Pecker, an associate of Trump’s and the National Enquirer’s publisher, agreed to print it. It is complete and utter lies. He accused Trump and “his henchmen” of spreading untrue rumors on social media and in a supermarket tabloid that Cruz cheated on his wife, Heidi.

The Enquirer’s story has exploded in Twitter.
The National Enquirer could not immediately be reached for comment on the story.
The altercation underscores the striking nastiness of the GOP primary race and the uncomfortable gender politics surrounding Trump, who has a long history of making incendiary remarks about women and their appearances.
Cruz noted that Stone is quoted on the record in the National Enquirer article and said Stone “is a man with 50 years of dirty tricks behind him”. Cruz denied having any role in the photo being circulated on the Internet and Trump responded by threatening to “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife.

That could change if Trump becomes the nominee and faces Hillary Clinton, who would be the first female standard-bearer of either major political party.
“To stop the billionaire from hitting the magic number of 1,237 delegates needed to seal the Republican nomination and to raise the prospect of a contested convention, they must do more than simply start snapping up victories in the remaining nominating contests”, reports CNN on the Trump campaign this morning.
When asked in an interview by Bloomberg on Wednesday whether he would rule out using nuclear weapons in response to threats from the Islamic State, Trump did not say how likely it would be, but he said even if their use had been ruled out, he would never say so.

Cruz’s statements on Trump in recent days are a far cry from the months he spent praising his opponent while other candidates tried – and largely failed – to weaken the frontrunner. “I have great respect for that woman over there”, he said, as Todd clarified to viewers that Trump was talking about veteran reporter Andrea Mitchell.
