Apple Inc had yesterday unveiled a new, smaller iPhone SE at a relatively low price tag of United States dollars 399 as it looks to boost sales in high-growth markets like China and India. It is powered by a 64 bit Apple’s home grown A9 chip coupled with M9 motion co-processor with 2GB of RAM. They also showed off some new bands for Apple Watch and introduced CareKit, a new platform that can be used by health providers to create applications that patients can use to monitor their own care. The edges also have a matte finish instead of the shiny finish from the iPhone 5s. 9.

Pre-orders for the new iPhone will begin on March 24, with the device going on sale on March 31 in the UK. Especially given that as of last quarter, some 60 percent of all iPhone users hadn’t yet upgraded to one of Apple’s large phones.

The company says that the goal was to bring the power of the iPad Pro to the 200 million iPad users that use a 9.7-inch iPad. It could be safely said when it comes to the latest Apple iphone SE which was launched on Monday. It has a 12 megapixel camera and the “live photo” feature like the 6S.

The iPhone SE will be shipped with iOS 9.3 out of the box. The iPhone SE also supports the always-on Hey Siri feature.
