Church schedules Easter egg drop Saturday

The annual Easter egg hunt is Saturday at 11 a.m.at Wells C. Stock Park by the Oregon Trail Center in Montpelier. There will be plenty of eggs and some have prizes.

Bruning High School gymnasium will welcome ages one through nine for the 10:30 a.m. hunt sponsored by the Pastime Activity Club.

Easter Dash at Cowan Stadium – Children up to age 12 are welcome to attend the free Easter Dash Sunday on Lewis Main.

CJ Wilson, owner of Sonlight Expressions, will be at the park taking photos of children with the Easter Bunny. We have information on quite a few, but we know there are even more. Donations of plastic-filled eggs, candy and cash donations are now being accepted. Tickets for the Easter hunt are available to buy from Edwards Store in Westgate. For Christians, eggs symbolize the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb.
