Alec and Ireland Baldwin poke fun at voicemail scandal | Celebrities
Alec Baldwin posted a picture of himself and daughter Ireland making fun of the infamous 2007 incident in which the actor left a furious voicemail for the then-11-year-old in which he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.

The two appear to be on better terms than ever now, as the 19-year-old shared a photo on Twitter reading “If I Were a Pig” with her dad. “I’d be rude and thoughtless”, he captioned. Since then, it seems like father and daughter have a close relationship, and Baldwin has recovered from this fiasco to slay as Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock (though he’s still known for his anger issues).
Even after the embarrassing voicemail was heard by the public, Ireland has stood by her father.
“The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was”, Ireland said. Just Jared says they were both in on it, but given the bluntness of the caption, I’m not so sure. “For me it was like, ‘Okay, whatever.’ I called him back, I was like, ‘Sorry Dad, I didn’t have my phone.’ That was it.”‘.

Alec Baldwin and his daughter Ireland are proving they’re able to laugh at the past. He is raising two young children with his second wife, Hilaria Baldwin.
