Apple Inc. (AAPL) Has Major iPhone Overhaul in the Works
Like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, Kuo says the new iPhone will return to an all-glass enclosure, with both the front and the back made of the same material.

Finally Mr Kuo also hinted that Apple is preparing wireless charging and iris or facial recognition for the 2017 iPhone model.
Apple just launched the iPhone SE and is months away from releasing the iPhone 7.
News has it that Apple has planned a new iPhone model for 2017.
Mr. Kuo also stated that Apple is working on new features to differentiate its product from competitors’ offerings. According to the analyst, “If the supply of AMOLED panel is sufficient, we believe it is more likely that the first scenario will happen, in which case a 5.8-inch AMOLED model will entirely replace the 5.5-inch TFT-LCD iPhone”. Kuo also says the phone will feature a “completely new form factor design” with more narrow bezels and a “more comfortably grip”.
Adding yet another screen size to the iPhone line is possible, but it doesn’t feel like Apple’s style. Even years see the launch of bold new designs with simple numerical names – so the iPhone 4, iPhone 5, and iPhone 6. The existing iPhone 6s and 6s Plus embodies the second year of the present body design, and usually the 2016 iPhone 7 is tipped to have substantial external redesign to reinvigorate the appearance.
In the report obtained by MacRumours, the KGI Securities analyst suggests Apple is holding back a monumental overhaul of the iPhone until late 2017. While the screen will be larger than the current 5.5-inch effort on the iPhone 6s Plus, the handset could be smaller because the display is curved.

You likely won’t see Intel’s infamous “Intel Inside” sticker plastered on the back of the iPhone 7, but that doesn’t mean that future Apple smartphones won’t contain Intel technology. This implies the iPhone maker could offer 4.7-inch and 5.8-inch models in 2017. The new design philosophy is unproven but in the recent past, change in form factor has had a transformative impact on Apple’s demand.
