Brandon, the long-time Buffalo Bills executive that currently holds the title of team president, now holds the same title with the Buffalo Sabres.

A news release from the Sabres says the Pegula’s have been impressed with Brandon since purchasing the Bills.
“We are grateful to Ted Black for all he has done for the Sabres organization, and wish him much success in his future endeavors”, the Pegulas said.
Ted Black is out at the Buffalo Sabres.
Black has been connected to Pegula since 2010, when he helped him put together a group of advisors when the Pegulas were looking to purchase the Sabres.
Brandon has also worked on transforming the small-market Bills into a regional franchise, by first relocating their training camp facility from Fredonia to Rochester in 2000, and overseeing the team playing annual “home” games in Toronto. Brandon will continue to work with PSE to create synergies throughout both organizations while operating independently from a business operations standpoint. Several high-end sponsors making the trip also have sponsorship deals with the Bills, evidence that the amount of business crossover between the teams eliminated the need for each to have a president.
“I would like to thank Terry and Kim for the confidence they have placed in me”, Brandon said in a release. “I look forward to the opportunity to engage with the Sabres great fans and lead the business operations of both teams”. He will run business operations for both teams concurrently.

While Brandon has gotten heat from fans for some football decisions, he will be relied on for his business ability in his new role. His role in the Bills organization was in question as recently as earlier this off-season, when rumors that Bill Polian would return to the franchise.
