John Kasich Enjoyed the Food at Mike’s Deli

He said Kasich’s ability to balance the state’s budget and appease OH residents should really speak to the people of Western New York.

Three-term Washington Governor Dan Evans is one of five former statewide elected Republicans throwing their support behind Ohio Governor John Kasich’s presidential campaign.

The sudden faltering of Trump, evidenced by Cruz’s win in Wisconsin Tuesday, makes the likelihood of a contested convention much greater.

An odd choice? Maybe not.

The Ohio Governor hopes to spoil the efforts of Republican front-runner Donald Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz by winning CT, which has a total of 28 delegates up for grabs. “There is some novelty”.In the months since, Cruz and Trump have attacked each other regularly.

Enten spoke to WNYC’s All Things Considered host Jami Floyd. Ted Cruz, who has 517 delegates, have called on Kasich to drop out of the race.

Everything coming out John Kasich and his campaign is pointing in the same direction: they believe that he can win.

There are 95 delegates at stake in the New York Republican primary.

“Governor Kasich has serious proposals to strengthen our military, defeat ISIS and stand up for freedom around the world – proposals that rise far above bumper-stickers and amateur rhetoric”.

But the Kasich campaign officially insists that the back hand is nothing new, and that the governor remains as well-positioned for victory as when he got into the race.

John Kasich is hitting the NY airwaves with an ad that says he’s the lone Republican who can beat Hillary Clinton in a presidential election. Kasich himself has always maintained that his campaign has a goal beyond merely being a spoiler, but the rhetoric from him and his staff has increased in intensity in recent days.

“I think we’re going to get delegates here for sure but I think it’s a matter of how many”, he said.

“How am I going to get my mouth around this?” he said when he saw the feast.

“So we would not expect Portman to run considerably ahead of the GOP presidential nominee in a state that should reflect the national presidential voting”. The stretch of states however, may in fact favor him over the next two weeks.
