Sanders campaign manager: Clinton has ‘resume for the job’
That whole bit about Hillary Clinton being unqualified to be president?

“What he said about abortion, for example, his absolute insulting action toward immigrants, calling them rapists and criminals, he is expressing, maybe in more colorful language, what Republicans believe”, said Clinton.
Anchor Charlie Rose confronted Bernie Sanders in a CBS News interview on Thursday, asking why he couldn’t definitively say that his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, is qualified for the presidency.
Her unusual ride on the 4 train, covered live by her traveling press, followed an awkward New York Daily News interview in which Sanders appeared not to know that the vast New York subway system no longer uses metal tokens. “I hope very much that we can have an issue-oriented campaign, but if people attack me and distort my record, we will respond”.
Sanders suggested that Clinton had gone negative as his campaign gathered strength.
A new poll from Emerson College shows sanders trailing far behind Clinton in NY: 56 percent to 38 percent.
Sanders, in Philadelphia, did not back down from his assertion that Clinton’s Wall Street ties, among other things, disqualify her for the office.
Sanders needs to win an estimated 56 percent of the remaining delegates nationwide to overtake Clinton. “She has been saying lately that she thinks that I am, quote-unquote, not qualified to be president”. “I think in a sense he may be going for the Catholic vote but this is not the Catholic vote and he should remember that and act accordingly – not that he will”.
Now, two months before California heads to the polls, Sanders has cut her lead to just six percentage points, according to a poll by the Sacramento Bee.
“If you want to call it negative, I call it politics”, said Brink, 58. She and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, have forged an expansive network of donors and political connections over a quarter-century of campaigning in the state, and she remains the choice of women, older voters and registered Democrats here.
At a later rally, in a Greenpoint park, Sanders was set to share the stage with actress Susan Sarandon, who has been a vocal Clinton critic. Sanders has backed away from his suggestion that Hillary Clinton isn’t qualified to be president.
He responded to Rose’s question with: “Well, does Secretary Clinton believe that I am unqualified to be president?”
“I think it was my first term when we changed from tokens to MetroCards”, Clinton said laughing, as she talked to reporters before boarding the train. The problem is that Clinton never said such a thing.
Meanwhile, Sanders was in his native Brooklyn Friday, reminiscing about his days growing up in the borough’s Greenpoint neighborhood.
