Have to say, Felicity Jones – so fantastic in The Theory of Everything – looks equally great here as the one going rogue. It was also revealed that she was forced to survive on her own at a young age and has a rebellious, careless and undisciplined streak.

Another report in The Independent mentioned the film’s setting in the Star Wars timeline, which is between the events in “Episode III” and “Episode IV“.

The story will pick up with rebels trying to steal plans for the Empire’s “new weapon”, aka the Death Star, so fans are getting pretty hyped over the return of that.

Rogue One is being directed by Gareth Edwards with screenplay by Chris Weitz. She’s still one of the breakout stars of December’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” – but she might not be the butt-kickingest female character in the “Star Wars” universe for much longer. There has been speculation that Darth Vader and Han Solo could potentially be in the film.

“It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know”. What’s your favorite moment from “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s” first trailer?

This is a big first for the franchise since it’ll be likely to be the first Star Wars movie to not feature any Jedi Knights. Forest Whitaker asks Erso, who fights off Stormtroopers in the clip.
