Ms Lane Fox is already a board member of several other major companies including Marks & Spencer (Other OTC: MAKSF – news), mydeco.com and British broadcaster Channel 4. She was also the founder and Chairperson of doteveryone.org.uk, an organization advancing the understanding and use if internet enabled technologies since September 2015.
She was appointed as a cross-bench peer to the House of Lords in 2013.
Mr. Johnston and Ms. Lane Fox each executed Twitter’s standard form of indemnification agreement.
As the social media company struggles to attract new users and compete for more ad dollars, Twitter isn’t just hiring new executives but changing the makeup of its board of directors. He added, “This matters & is a must”.
Meanwhile, Peters Currie and Chernin will depart when their terms expire.
Former Fox exec Peter Chernin has opted to leave Twitter’s board of directors, the company disclosed today in an SEC filing.

Shares of Twitter were trading lower by more than 2 percent at $16.61 heading into Friday’s final hour of trading. This week, Twitter also teamed up with the NFL to broadcast Thursday night football games for the 2016 regular season.
