The differing commitments are the latest round in an ongoing fight between the campaigns over whether and when the candidates will debate in the delegate-rich Empire State. “We may have a major rally being scheduled”, Sanders told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union”. GMA” offered a debate during “GMA’ on Friday the 15th.

Clinton wants to hold the debate in Pennsylvania instead.
Clinton is now the front-runner to win the Democratic presidential nomination with 1,243 pledged delegates compared to Sanders’ 980.
“I understand as we get closer to the end there may be some anxiety, frustration and acting out on the other side that has to look at the facts”.
Sanders also answered questions from News 3 about the recent tone shift of the Democratic race, where he and Clinton have traded barbs about campaign donations from the oil industry and where Clinton accusing Sanders campaign of lying. Whether or not it’s surrogates or whether or not it’s the candidate himself and I think that Representative Barney Frank actually hit the nail on the head that it’s these McCarthyite type attacks.
While Clinton brought in about $15 million less than Sanders for the month of March, the Vermont lawmaker has yet to release his cash on hand figure.
