Watch a Few Bad Eggs Ruin the PEZ Easter Egg Hunt
“Your Easter egg hunt is an extremely nice thing to do however, it was completely unorganized, times posted were not kept, parents took from small children”.

The general manager and other staff Visitor Center staff members were on hand trying to talk with as many people as we possibly could, letting them know if someone didn’t get an egg or candy, we had plenty of candy at the front entry for them.
The event was supposed to unfold in three stages, each belonging to a different age group with the youngest group going first and the oldest group, 12 year olds, slated to go last.
“Someone pushed me over and took my eggs”, four-year-old Vincent Welch said.
Simmons said that within minutes of her arriving, a Pez employee told her the event was called off.
“We started talking to people and say, ‘Hey this is supposed to start at certain time, ‘” Pez General Manager Shawn Peterson said. “The crowd then immediately moved to the 3rd field and took over and removed everything well before the activity was to even start”.
Some parents slammed the firm for failing to organise the event properly. They apologized for the situation and said they did their best to try and salvage the event.
Kids searched all over Captain Bill’s Backyard Grill Friday evening during the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt.
Angry parents took to the Pez Facebook page to sound off about the disaster, and the company quickly issued an apology.
This year, the youngsters got to keep all the eggs that they had picked up off the field.
Throughout the week leading up to it, it was attracting a lot of attention on the Pez Facebook page.
His wife and Party Outfitters co-owner Danielle Desrochers said the trouble started when some people broke through the ropes before the scheduled start of the egg hunt and began scooping up all the eggs. We drive 2 and a half hours to show up 30 min early only to receive a ‘sorry, no one listened and they started early.
Welch told Eyewitness News that children were trampled, parents knocked over children and eggs were stolen out of peoples’ baskets.

“We sincerely tried our best to create a fun, free activity for everyone to enjoy, ” the company said in a statement to WFSB-TV. In 2014, a giant egg hunt in Sacramento where parents grabbed the eggs as soon as they hit the ground and argued with organizers about whether they should be allowed to help, according to the Sacramento Bee.
