The Anaconda rapper took to the micro-blogging site to slam the MTV VMAs for excluding her as a nominee in the Video of the Year category at next month’s ceremony on Tuesday July 21.

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj had a minor shitfit on Twitter about the fact that she’d only been nominated for three VMAs this year – Best Hip Hop Video, Best Female Video (both for “Anaconda”), and Best Collaboration (for “Bang Bang” with Ariana Grande and Jessie J). I’ll be on that stage to collect my awards for vid of the year.
Katy Perry also weighed in on Nicki’s side, and many criticised Taylor for lashing out and misunderstanding the Anaconda star’s critique of institutional racism. The “Bad Blood” singer added: “I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke”.
Minaj accepted the apology by writing on her social media account, “That means so much Taylor, thank you”.
All appears to be well between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, two days after they butted heads on Twitter and caused a flurry of online speculation. “Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me”. But the path from realizing that it’s OK to call yourself a feminist to being a knowledgeable, outspoken, intersectional feminist is not an easy one, and everyone takes that journey at a different speed. Swift took to Twitter to apologize to Minaj about their fight.

Swift has not acknowledged Perry, but Minaj tweeted a kissing face emoji at the singer. “But u should speak on this”. But, there is one thing that GMA could not get Nicki to stop, which is swearing on daytime television.
Minaj’s point seemed to be that if you were thin and white, you’d be up there, in with a shot at the prize.
Swift replied: “If I win, please come up with me!!”
The 53-year-old actor is believed to be so serious about the 22-year-old British woman, who he first met when he hired her as his assistant on “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” last year, that he is considering popping the question after just a few months of dating.

“I think everyone knows that Taylor has done nothing wrong in that situation”, The Daily Telegraph quoted Sheeran as saying.
