Rick Scott, Fla. governor, berated by Starbucks customer: ‘You’re an a-hole!’
Former Lake Worth Commissioner Cara Jennings told Governor Rick Scott what many South Floridians wish they could say to him yesterday in a Gainesville Starbucks.

According to Tampa Bay ABC affiliate WFTS, Cara Jennings called Scott out while he was in line to get a coffee.
“You’re an a-hole. You don’t care about working people. You should be ashamed to show your face around here”, Jennings said.
Imagine a public figure who you really, truly despise.
“A million jobs? Great, who here has a great job?” she said, turning her head and scanning the crowded room. “We’ve got a million jobs”, he reminded Jennings.
‘Shame on you Rick Scott, you’re an embarrassment to our state’.
Immediately after the episode, Jennings said “the decisions Rick Scott makes impact people’s everyday lives, and he should be uncomfortable to go out publicly and should be aware that people are impacted by the decisions he makes”.
Scott: “Maybe you should try to tell the truth”.
The stunned coffee shop remained silent as Scott replied: ‘You should, there are plenty out there’.
Jennings later shared the YouTube video link on her Facebook page, where she further explained some of her reasoning behind confronting Scott at Starbucks. “Shame on you, Rick Scott”, she said.

She’d been reading about Scott signing a bill that cuts money for Planned Parenthood and seized the opportunity to speak her mind. “I thought, ‘Here’s my chance to tell the governor how I feel about the frightful bill'”. He then says something unintelligible back to the customer before hurrying out of the store.
