20th Century Fox is revealing more about the Four Horsemen mutants in a new X-Men: Apocalypse featurette, which includes director Bryan Singer discussing the ’80s-set action-adventure. But most of the footage is from the previous trailers that have been released.
“Apocalypse is the original mutant, and he magnifies all of their powers”, says Michael Fassbender in the Four Horsemen featurette. That’d be Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Angel (Ben Hardy), Psylocke (Olivia Munn) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender).
Rounding out the cast for Apocalypse are James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Josh Helman and Lana Condor. Hugh Jackman will also appear as Wolverine, but apparently won’t have a major role in the sequel. From what we’ve seen so far, Apocalypse’s Horsemen should prove to be quite a force to be reckoned with and if the remaining X-Men have any hope of saving our world, we should be in store for quite the epic battle.
Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE.
X-Men: Apocalypse is named after one particularly destructive and ancient mutant, but even Oscar Isaac’s God-like villain can’t cleanse the world alone.
According to Superherohype, the new film will follow James McAvoy’s Professor X and his team of young X-Men as they struggle to defeat Apocalypse and ultimately save mankind from obliteration.
