HTC acknowledges ‘multiple issues’ with Vive deliveries

The demonstrations are open to the public to experience a host of virtual reality content available through Valve‘s Stream digital-game-distribution platform for downloading computer games.

HTC gives an update to its consumers on HTC Vive delay, the VR headset shipment faced multiple issues that the company is working hard to sort out, according to HTC Rep. HTC says its will post a schedule of demos on its website.

If wearables need apps or connectivity to work with a phone, the HTC Vive also needs a special app to bring notifications and alerts for upcoming events on your calendar, text messages, or incoming calls. These replies are then available to you inside the HTC Vive when you get a text message or phone call. It details global unit shipments, ASP’s and revenues for smartphone, PC and Game Console powered headsets, with further breakouts by high / medium / low price tiers for each category. Some have reported the headsets tearing the glasses from their face and others just don’t like the larger gap between screen and eye.
