Telltale Bringing ‘7 Days to Die’ Survival Game to PS4 & Xbox One

Well, 7 Days to Die is already out on Steam Early Access and the game is visually pretty janky. In that case, consider yourself lucky. More game features are outlined over on the official 7 Days to Die website. We actually first caught wind of the game’s existence back in August 2014, when an early alpha version of the game was released for Windows, Mac, and Linux machines. That said, the game is apparently quite fun, and has a Very Positive user rating on Steam, so you might want to look past the ugly exterior in this case. It seems rather fitting that the first game they would release under that banner would be a horror game given how the “Walking Dead” helped them to really blow up a few years ago. It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration and character growth together in a formula that PC gamers have been enjoying for quite some time.

The publisher also has a treat in store for fans of its The Walking Dead series of games: everyone who pre-orders 7 Days To Die gets access to five TWD character skins, including Michonne and Lee Everett. It’s a big YouTube hit on PC, and the console version will add a split-screen multiplayer mode, along with other features to be announced and plenty of post-release downloadable content. Check it out down below. “The Fun Pimps have redefined what the survival genre can be with unrivalled world-building, crafting, and character growth”. With Telltale’s reputation for quality games, let’s give this new post-apocalyptic zombie game the benefit of the doubt for now, at least until we get some concrete gameplay footage.

The developers are not stopping there for the plan right now is to bring the title to the Xbox One.

“7 Ways to Die” is due out on the PS4 and Xbox One in June (June 14th est.), and is priced at $29.99.
