Video from the scene showed the bus on its side, with medical crews rescuing the students. The driver was taken to Sinai Hospital’s trauma center mostly as a precaution, Baltimore County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Paul Massarelli said. Officials say none of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.
The school bus was on its way to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School to play a rugby game, according to the statement.
Most of the students aboard were from Hereford Middle School, with some from Hereford High, WBAL-TV 11 reports.
Sudbury Police said Concord Road is closed between Candy Hill and Plympton Road due to the accident investigation.
