School Bus Crash in Baltimore County Sends 9 to Hospital, Officials Say

Police in Sudbury tell FOX25 almost a dozen people were hurt when a sedan and a school bus were involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon.

Video from the scene showed the bus on its side, with medical crews rescuing the students. The driver was taken to Sinai Hospital’s trauma center mostly as a precaution, Baltimore County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Paul Massarelli said. Officials say none of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.

The school bus was on its way to Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School to play a rugby game, according to the statement.

Most of the students aboard were from Hereford Middle School, with some from Hereford High, WBAL-TV 11 reports.

Sudbury Police said Concord Road is closed between Candy Hill and Plympton Road due to the accident investigation.

Police tell FOX25 they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
