Cortana Android app will soon let Windows 10 mirror your phone’s notifications
Microsoft announced the Windows 10 Anniversary Update at its Build 2016 event on 30 March in San Francisco.

While this functionality will work for Windows 10 Mobile devices too, Microsoft would not be bringing this to the iPhone.
Following the Windows 10 Anniversary update this summer, you’ll also be able to listen to background music on Xbox One (without Snap) and browse a unified app store across Xbox and PC. One of the coolest new features?
All-in-all it seems like a pretty smart move from Microsoft as it seeks to build out the appeal of Windows 10 in the mobile focused landscape.

Spencer also explained how Windows32 apps could be converted to Universal Windows Apps, showing a demo of Age of Empires 2 and The Witcher 3. After teaming up with Ubuntu to build an entire Linux subsystem and Unix’s Bash shell into Windows 10, Microsoft is now integrating Android-specific features into the OS.
