“The Walking Dead” Season Finale Sees Drop in Audience
Even if you’re not a fan of The Walking Dead, you’ve probably heard that its latest season ended on a massive cliffhanger.

One new face is due to loom large in The Walking Dead season 7, after being introduced in the tail-end of season 6: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who’s playing Negan, leader of the Saviors and all-round murderous badass. When you look back at the Glenn fake-out earlier this season, there were many people who were threatening to never watch the show again. “Either of these are fine as long as it’s released before May 30th”.
At the time of this writing, the petition has 1,200 signatures (its target is 1,500). Now, with predictions and theories swirling that Negan could have killed off Abraham, Michonne, Eugene, Daryl, or someone else, TWD fans are anxious that this will be another way the show will deviate from the comic books.
“The Walking Dead” season 7 will debut in October. That being said… I have to trust these writers and showrunners, they know what they’re doing. I think this audio track pretty specifically points to Glenn as the victim of Negan’s bat. “I suppose that’s what they call omerta, the code of silence in the mafia. We certainly got a taste of that in the finale”, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said, per Deadline.
In 2014, more than 65,000 fans signed a petition to resurrect Beth Greene, who died in the midseason finale in the series’ fifth season. And when we reveal who was on the receiving end there, that’s going to be the start of another story. “We built a little rig for Jeffery to hit so that there would be impact with the baseball bat”. However, the fact that viewers are still talking about the show as much as they have been in the past is good news.
Was The Walking Dead’s season finale a cheap cop-out? . “Gimple told Variety.” I know obviously and I’ve known for awhile what is in [the season 7 premiere].
By the finale’s close, when both Glenn and Maggie are on their knees waiting to see which of their loved ones will die, the hope they’ve come to embody seems more futile than ever-especially given Maggie’s dire medical condition, which started suddenly as she clutched her abdomen in pain.
The Walking Dead has been on AMC since 2010.
