Pinwheels lined Yellowstone Courthouse lawn to promote Child Abuse Prevention
Susan Loehn, the Executive Director of the Hampshire County CAC said, “We are doing a lot of work around educating teachers and youth serving organizations, that when a child tells you about it, you need to report it to Department of Children and Families so that this team can all get together”. They want that to serve as a reminder that it takes the whole community to put an end to child abuse.

“I think the important thing to note is that it can happen regardless of your economic status or how you’re raised”, said Dr. Jennell Duey, a Billings Clinic Family Physician and Pinwheel Award Recipient.
The Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards and its member board in Burnet County are observing Texas Go Blue Day in recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Each bracelet identifies the wearer as a partner of the 26th Judicial Circuit who wants to help prevent child abuse.
The pinwheels that are planted represent the belief that all children in DE have the right to grow up in safe, nurturing homes, free from abuse and neglect.
Prevent Child Abuse Delaware (PCAD) is leading the charge in Delaware with programs, activities, and social media campaigns that help recognize the importance of preventing child abuse from ever happening. Thousands of Texans will wear blue, the official color of prevention, to show their support for children.

Thursday’s “Wear Blue Day” aims to have people wear a blue ribbon or the color blue, which is the color of prevention, in order to spark a conversation about child abuse and neglect.
