Along with access to all 25 playable heroes, players will earn gear and experience (even unlocking some new heroes in the process), take part in two Story Mode “episodes” and also experience two different competitive multiplayer modes.

Void’s Edge: Bring a jacket, ’cause the ice-planet, Bliss, is mighty cold. The beta appears to have different sizes for different platforms, weighing in at 7.6 GB for the PS4, 10.6 GB for the Xbox One and 12 GB for the PC. The Xbox One and PC will be able to join the open fray on April 13. 2016’s shaping-up to be a big year for multiplayer, team-based shooters, and Battleborn’s undoubtedly going to be competing against Blizzard’s own Overwatch, which heads to all platforms towards the end of May. In Void’s Edge however, “A Varelsi portal has opened and it’s up to you to fight your way through the invasion and deliver the payload”. Incursion mode on the “Overgrowth” map is the first and is similar to a standard MOBA.
