Gears of War 4 is all primed to bring back Training Grounds from the earlier installments in the series. According to Entertainment Weekly, it features a closer look at the three main protagonists which are named as JD Fenix, Del Walker and Kait Diaz.

Xbox is starting to rev up their massive marketing machine for Gears of War 4 by revealing the first trailer since E3 2015 during AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead season premiere. It will start on April 18 and will expand to all Xbox Live Gold members on April 25. The beta will run through May 1. The Gears of War 4 game’s plot will be set 25 years after Gears of War 3 and focus on JD Fenix, the son of Marcus Fenix. The planet Sera is on the verge of collapse from extreme environmental storms, an energy crisis and low resources after defeating the Locust.
The Outsiders are in constant conflict with the COG but everyone faces a new threat from enemies called “The Swarm”, who one day mysteriously kidnap everyone from an Outsider village.

We also have some other good news for the fans of this game series. Gears of War 4s next big reveal is coming soon. Yesterdays tweet simply said Tick-tock, with a new image that stated there were only two days left until the reveal. What’s chasing him are likely the Whelps, the Wretch analogue for the Swarm, the newest villains of the Gears of War franchise. Ahead of the highly anticipated release, Microsoft and The Coalition will be hosting a Gears of War 4 beta to help stress test the game.
