Watch Tom Cruise lip sync to The Weeknd

Tom Cruise and Jimmy Fallon picked up where Maverick and Goose left off in a lip-sync battle on the “Tonight Show” Monday night.

The former “Cocktail”, “Top Gun” and – yes – “Rock of Ages” star tackled some very familiar tunes, including a face-touchy version of The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face”.

Fallon went old-school for his follow-up, rocking out to The Rolling Stones’ “Undercover of the Night”, and Cruise followed suit with a Meatloaf classic “Paradise by the Dashboard Light”. This time around, Cruise was the one who was impressed, asking, “What do I do now?”

In conclusion, Tom Cruise brings back that loving feeling.

Fallon is known for having a lot of fun with the guests on the show, and Cruise is known for a few famous wacky chat show appearances, so this was a match made in heaven. But Fallon knew he didn’t have a chance to beat Cruise in the lip-sync segment. But, in a surprise duet, Cruise joined Fallon mid-song and the two serenaded a totally embarrassed woman in the audience.

It was a “Lip Sync Battle” for the history books, and definitely a close second to Cruise’s “Risky Business” dance, which the star even teased at one point.
