Tesla, the popular luxury electric carmaker has finally unveiled the much awaited Model 3 sedan and will be launched at a starting price of $35,000, which is a little over Rs 23 lakh.
“Adding several more countries to Model 3 order page tonight”, tweeted Elon Musk, CEO, Tesla Motors.
All Model 3 cars will support Tesla’s high-speed Supercharging network because, according to Musk, “It’s about going where you want to go”. Musk says the vehicle has trunks both front and rear.
“Yet again, it seems that investors are expecting Tesla to tear up the rule book”, he said.
The Model 3 will be 5-Star crash rated along all dimensions and come equipped with Tesla Autopilot standard.

Pre-orders have been received for only a few hours but the company claims over 130,000 orders have been made already.
