Bill Clinton Clashes With Black Lives Matter Protesters

The 1994 crime bill is back under public scrutiny after a heated exchange between Bill Clinton and Black Lives Matter protesters at a Philadelphia rally for Hillary Clinton drew media attention and intense backlash Thursday. “I nearly wanted to apologise for it, but I want to use it as an example of the danger threatening our country”, he said.

While campaigning for his wife Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton was confronted by a swarm of #BlackLivesMatter protesters over his 1994 crime bill.

“You are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter”.

At Thursday’s event in Philadelphia, Bill Clinton was several minutes into his speech when protesters held up signs critical of the crime bill and Hillary Clinton’s use of the term “super predator”. “We got to listen to each other”, he said.

Yesterday Bill Clinton tried to turn down the temperature, attributing his tone to a desire to protect his spouse, and telling Harlem churchgoers: “We overdid it, putting too many nonviolent offenders in jail too long”. “And they did. But that doesn’t mean that I was most effective in answering it”. Contrast the way that Bill Clinton dispatched the BLM racist agitators with the way Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley coddled them and allowed them to take over their campaign events.

After continuous berating from protesters, Clinton continued to defend the bill.

As raucous as the Republican Convention will be, the Democrat Convention could be equally contentious if Black Lives Matter sees fit to make their presence known. Mass incarceration has largely been the type of stain on the Clinton legacy with Black Americans that doesn’t wash out with words.

Former President Clinton said Friday he regretted drowning out the chants of black protesters at a rally in Philadelphia the day before, when he issued an aggressive defense of his administration’s impact on black families.

Wow! A Democrat who is not afraid to say that people are in prison because of crimes rather than discrimination!

Asked by a reporter in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Friday if “gender was a factor” in Sanders’ comments, Bill Clinton began by praising his wife, saying she’s the best candidate for president. Clinton argued that the bill lowered the country’s crime rate, which he claimed benefited the African American community by achieved bipartisan support and diversifying the police force. “She [Hillary Clinton] didn’t”.

“At a time when Hillary Clinton is dependent on black voters and campaigning with mothers who’ve lost sons to police violence, Bill Clinton yoked her to his own discredited policies”.

The truth of the matter is that Black Lives Matters protesters don’t give a damn when black people are killed by other blacks unless they are cops.
