Donald Trump: Ivanka won’t be running mate

New York, as it turns out, has a “closed” primary-and neither Ivanka or Eric are registered Republicans. “So they feel very, very guilty”.

Trump said he thinks they would have had to register a year in advance.

Donald Trump has a big lead in polling in his home state of NY, but he won’t be getting the votes of two of his biggest advocates there: His kids. The deadline to change party was back in October, while new voters had until March 25 to register to vote.

Trump’s other son from his first marriage, Donald Trump Jr., has been a registered New York Republican since at least 2003, according to New York State Board of Elections records.
