Reliever Marc Rzepczynski went sprawling covering first base for the second out of the ninth inning and had to be checked out by the A’s medical staff before continuing. Bassitt is 0-2 with a 4.67 ERA and seven strikeouts in his career against the Mariners. The Mariners won 2 out of 3 in Texas last week and are looking to continue that trend this series.
