Kendrick Lamar Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant With Awesome Highlight Clip

“When guys are making shots it makes it more fun, guys are getting into the game and so hopefully we can continue that (Monday) night”, Harden said.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Kobe Bryant looks on before the start of an NBA basketball game against the Utah Jazz, Monday, March 28, 2016, in Salt Lake City.

“There’s no decline”, Bryant, who is expected to play his final game this week, responds.

Why: Often forgotten since it wasn’t during a championship year as the Lakers lost to the Pistons in the finals, Kobe’s exploits on the final day of the regular season deserve remembering. He’s the first player to do that since Jason Kidd did it way back in 2010.

Throughout the clip, Lamar strolls through The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.-once home of Bryant and the Lakers. “I said “Well they beat us by 40 the last two times we played them, so third time’s the charm'”.

“I’ve grown up in front of this crowd from the age of 17”, Bryant said. Multiple sources said that the commercial ad spot with Kobe Bryant is a one-off rather than a full endorsement relationship. Since then he has been subject to successive tributes to every arena he visited for the last time.

Still, Scott sounded courteous enough not to challenge Bryant to a game of golf.

“Every year, you get better and your team changes but our core is the same”. The monstar that he is, Russ had his triple-double in the books in under 18 minutes.

As Bryant walked toward the bus, which was scheduled to take the team to the airport for the final charter flight of his career, Bryant was asked what he will miss about the road. “So I’m going to put it on his tab”.

“Not necessarily so much on if we lose a game or anything like that”, Scott said.

Most teams have given tribute to the Black Mamba despite his previous request not to overdo it. Regardless, teams went on and paid their respects even if it was Kobe himself who crushed dreams and hearts of opposing teams with his plays during his prime. The Lakers have endured the worst season in franchise history, but Bryant is still providing plenty of highlights and remains “eternally optimistic” about his last two games.

“The way he played, it made it seem like it was tough”, Thunder star Kevin Durant said.
