US Elections: Donald Trump blasts ‘rigged’ rules on picking Republican delegates
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s concerns about how delegates are allotted turned into a roar on Monday as he accused the campaign of rival Ted Cruz of buying votes after his weekend win in Colorado.

A senior Trump aide said in a text message the campaign is “documenting everything” on the ground in Colorado and considering trying to block the Colorado delegation from participating at the national convention, where the ultimate Republican nominee will be picked.
When the GOP’s state executive board opted not to conduct a presidential preference poll as part of the party’s caucus system, many pundits predicted it would marginalize Colorado’s impact on the early nomination process.
“When you’re going to run for president, you should probably know the rules”, said Republican pollster David Winston. “This was given by politicians – it’s a crooked deal”, he added.
Donald Trump is explaining his recent loss in Colorado by once again blaming “the establishment” for introducing changes to Colorado’s delegate-selection process that would secretly undermine his campaign.
According to CBS News, Trump has 743 delegates, compared to Cruz’s 540.
At a rally in San Diego, he told reporters that whenever Trump loses he becomes ‘very unhappy, ‘ shouts, and ‘stamps his foot.’ He recommended Trump to relax with the claims that he has been stolen upon since voters clearly voted against him in a bid to ‘reclaim sanity’.
Two of the recipients are among the 27 delegates selected Saturday from Indiana’s nine congressional districts to represent the state at the Republican national convention July 18-21.
The Mesa County GOP convention passed resolutions supporting both a primary system and a continuation of the caucus system.
And the Democrats, they have a slightly different system. NY is just a little more than a week away and more than 300 total delegates will be up for grabs. They offer them trips, they offer them all sorts of things and you’re allowed to do that.
But it is increasingly likely that neither the property magnate nor the Texas senator will secure the 1,237 needed to win the nomination outright.
We assumed this discrepancy would help a relatively centrist or pragmatic candidate, like Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio. Ted Cruz for delegates. The ballots distributed at the convention by the state party contained only the numbers – and not the names – of the potential delegates.
“If we continue to stand united we will win this Republican nomination”, he said. The Trump campaign, charitably speaking, was inept and was thus out maneuvered at every turn. The Cruz campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Trump’s statements but on Sunday spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said the allegations were “more sour grapes from Trump”. Cruz got all 34 delegates in that state without a popular vote, although delegates themselves were voted on.
Trump is just ramping up his operation, but in some states he’s too late.

“This really shouldn’t be the way it is”, Trump said Monday on “Fox & Friends”. But instead of putting in the actual work it takes to win, he chooses to whine.
