Sanders takes on Clinton in New York
Campbell noted that even if Clinton won but Sanders still had “a respectable showing” of upwards of 40 percent of the vote, that could lead to problems for the Clinton camp.

For Ohio Governor John Kasich, it’s about winning enough delegates to keep all candidates from locking up the majority.
Despite Clinton’s string of losses, she continued to have a 219-delegate lead before Saturday, and considering Wyoming only has 14 delegates up for grabs, it isn’t going to change much. A candidate must secure 2,383 delegates to win the Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton did not campaign in Wyoming, choosing instead to devote time and resources to the delegate-rich NY and Pennsylvania primaries on April 19 and 26, respectively.
“When we began this campaign, everyone was really, really nice to me because they thought we were irrelevant”, Sanders said.

Clinton, a former secretary of state, considers NY her home turf.
“I think that it is very fair to say that we were way, way behind during the first half of this contest, but we are having – to say the least – a very strong second half, and we are closing very fast”.
Among Republicans, Donald Trump still holds a large lead as 53 percent of Republican poll-takers said they would vote for him.
Speaking to supporters in the Bronx on Saturday, Sanders seemed undeterred. According to a story on Sunday by the Associated Press, this means “Sanders must win about 67 percent of the remaining delegates and uncommitted superdelegates… through June to be able to clinch the Democratic nomination”.
Rybak says that because of his position with the national party he has not endorsed either Sanders or Clinton.
During a speech at the New York Hall of Science in Queens yesterday, Clinton touted Hillary’s work for New York when she served as the state’s Senator.

For his part, Sanders is campaigning relentlessly in New York, holding four events in three of New York City’s boroughs on Saturday including a sit down discussion at Harlem’s famous Apollo Theater.
