ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) – Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan says he’s lost hair but is killing cancer cells “like mad”.

Gov. Hogan announced back in June that he was fighting B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and has since completed two rounds of chemotherapy. I’m losing hair, but I’m winning the battle. The 59-year-old Republican governor adds that first lady Yumi Hogan says he’s “still sexy”.

However, treatment isn’t slowing down the governor – who shared a photo with papers spread out in front of him. “So yes – the new look is a bit of a shock at first, but to me, bald is attractive!”

Hogan announced last month that he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Hogan began sporting a shorter haircut In the days leading up to his second round of intensive chemotherapy last week and was seen in a photo on his Facebook page earlier this week wearing a baseball cap in a staff meeting.

Hogan will still have to undergo more aggressive chemo treatments, but his doctors say the disease is very responsive to chemo and that he has a strong chance of achieving remission.
