Fox says Megyn Kelly meets with Trump
Fox News confirmed that Kelly met with Trump. Kelly was then escorted upstairs by a member of Trump’s team, according to their reports.

“The last time the two met was in March, at the Fox News debate in MI, and their interaction seemed cordial”, ABC News recalled.
Fox shot back: “Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land”. He has not attacked Kelly via Twitter since April 1.
Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump reportedly held a secret meeting at Trump Tower in New York City this morning, suggesting perhaps that they may have buried the rhetorical hatchet.
Fox News boss Roger Ailes has steadfastly supported Megyn Kelly in the various dust-ups with Donald Trump during the primary season, however, which has also raised her profile and resulted in praise even in liberal precincts.
A source close to Trump confirms the meeting happened late Wednesday morning.
The face-to-face chat raises the possibility of a Kelly-Trump interview sometime in the future.
Kelly’s broadcast special, modeled on Barbara Walters’s “Most Fascinating People” series, is scheduled to air May 23; surely a close encounter with a reality show billionaire who has showered her with insults for the past nine months would attract a big audience. “I had always been hoping I could reach out to him at a time when he wasn’t angry”.
“Our campaign never will, never has engaged in the politics of personal destruction”, she said, in response to a comment about an ad produced by an anti-Trump super PAC that featured a photo of Trump’s wife, Melania, posing nude.
BRIAN STELTER: Yeah, there’s a real mystery about this.
Kelly, much to her chagrin, has been one of Trump’s top targets.
She added: “We don’t spend a lot of time talking about it on the campaign because we have 16 states to win”.

“Oh God no. He does not have to apologize”, as a requirement for her sitting on camera with him, she told Rose on CBS.
