Aziz Ansari to star in new Netflix series
Finally, at Tuesday’s Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour kick off, Netflix set dates for six new kids and family originals: “Dinotrux” (Aug. 14), “Puffin Rock” (Sept. 1), “Popples” (Nov.), “Care Bears and Cousins” (Dec.), “Project Mc2” (Aug. 7) and “Way Too Wonderland” (Aug. 14).

Longmire also stars Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Lou Diamond Phillips (Southland, La Bamba), Cassidy Freeman (Smallville) and Adam Bartley (Justified).
The third season of the streaming service’s animated series will consist of 12 episodes set to premiere in 2016. Gerald McRaney (House of Cards) and Ally Walker (Sons of Anarchy) will make guest appearances.
The comic has already headlined comedy specials for the streaming site but, “Master of None, ‘” is a comedy that will follow the actor as an indecisive 30-year-old named Dev, living in New York. It was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg and is produced by Michael Eisner’s Tornante Co.; Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright exec produce alongside Arnett and Aaron Paul. “Dev’s story takes him through subjects as diverse as the plight of the elderly, the immigrant experience, and how to find the most delicious pasta for dinner”. The series, which will bow Friday, November 6, hails from Alan Yang, Mike Schur, Dave Becky and David Miner.
Based on the novels by bestselling author Craig Johnson, the series stars Robert Taylor as the unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. It’s comprised of four films that feature Handler taking on marriage, racism, technology and drugs.
The internet TV network also added to its original documentary roster with Keith Richards: Under the Influence, which comes from the Academy Award-winning director Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom, Best of Enemies). Meanwhile, the 4-episode comedy series With Bob and David starring Bob Odenkirk and David Cross will premiere around the same time, as will Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola’s A Very Murray Christmas. Exact dates to be announced later.

Netflix also teased several new series coming in late 2015 including the new Marvel show Jessica Jones starring Krysten Ritter and David Tennant.
