The Trump campaign got some good news when a Florida prosecutor announced that Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, would not be prosecuted on a misdemeanor battery charge involving a reporter he was accused of grabbing at an event last month.

The Daily News says Cruz and Trump would be “disastrous” as president.

But in the Democratic race, there are also unelected delegates or “superdelegates”, who, under Democratic rules, automatically become delegates to the convention.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, about half of 129 delegate candidates who responded to a survey said they felt obligated to back the presidential contender who carries their county or wins the state.

A few hundred people have indicated online they plan to “peacefully assemble” outside the state Capitol on Friday to protest.

Trump heads into Tuesday’s primary with two big endorsements now, the second one from the New York Observer.

And if Donald can’t get a majority, and the reason he’s throwing such a fit is the odds are looking more and more likely that he can’t get a majority, then we’re going to go to Cleveland.

“We are the only campaign that has filed a full slate of delegates”, he said. Trump didn’t win a single delegate at Saturday’s Colorado GOP convention. There is a standard template for conventions, but delegates could tweak the template, changing the game in any way that they want.

“The hard number is 1,237, and we think we’re going to blow way past that”, said Brookover, a long-time GOP political operative in Washington.

If one candidate pulls in 50 percent of the vote, he receives the remaining 14 delegates.

“A delegate is an individual who was elected to take part in the selection process”, said Victor Fitz, who is a Republican delegate from Michigan’s 6th Congressional District.

“They called me, and I said, ‘I am not committing to Trump”.

Onlyr 56 percent of likely voters had even heard that Kasich was born in Pennsylvania and 95 percent of respondents said it had no impact on the likelihood that they’d vote for Kasich.

The top vote-getter in Pennsylvania wins 17 statewide delegates. “Campaigns have to know when absentee ballots are due, how long early voting lasts in certain states, or the deadlines for voter registration; the delegate rules are no different”.
