HTC 10 Actually Follows HTC One M9 – And Adds Much More
The company has diversified with the arrival of the HTC Vive VR headset but will still be looking for smartphone success in 2016. Well, for one the phone could be called the HTC 10 or One M10 as recent reports have suggested that either name could be the final one. Are you interested in the HTC 10 Lifestyle edition? Priced at $699, the 10 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM.

On the photography front, it features a 12-Ultrapixel 2 camera with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and 4K video recording capabilities.
While the 10 is an evolution in HTC’s flagship Android lineup, the manufacturer made a decision to go the route of selling the device through one carrier in Canada. There’s a 5.2-inch Super LCD 5 display of Quad HD resolution (2560×1440 pixels) that according to HTC is 30 percent more colourful and 50% more responsive than its previous M9 flagship. If it comes with OIS front camera then HTC 10 will be the first smartphone to have this feature.
Just as LG did with the LG G5, which is available in a downgraded version in Latin America, HTC will launch the “10 Lifestyle” model in select countries. The camera that is front can reportedly be found in at 5 megapixels, with OIS also, which is a rare feat. The 3,000mAh battery can last up to 2 days under certain conditions and a quick charge 3.0 support through the USB-C type port is also available.
We know we aren’t supposed to judge a book by its cover – or, in this case, a smart phone by its casing – but the HTC 10 sure is pretty on the eyes.

The handset packs in the usual connectivity options including 4G LTE and is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Sense 7 UI. HTC itself has been putting out some information on Twitter, trying to generate buzz around the phone. Like its predecessor, the HTC 10 also sports a metal unibody chassis.
